Ciphers, 2024-
The artist as desultory cipher observes the curator as parasitic cipher and from there a narrative unfolds and unravels as both polemical and psychological detective fiction. Tracing the object of my investigation north from London to the Barents Sea, I developed a collection of preliminary writings, found object, sound and video recordings, alongside other ephemera in building toward the creation of a novel. I have completed a first draft as of May 2026 .
